Pen & Sword Productions offers over 40 years of combined experience in healthcare, mind/body practices, and digital media with a successful track record of developing and implementing creative, measurable, and scalable programs for corporate clients.
Founded in 2010, Pen & Sword Productions launched a PBS program - Longevity Tai Chi in early 2011 through a partnership with Detroit Public Television and American Public Television reaching over 60 million TV households nationwide and providing an unprecedented look into the evidence-based science behind tai chi and its increasing role in healthcare.
Most recent projects include a three-part patient instructional series, supported by Purdue Pharma L.P., unveiling the practices of meditation, tai chi, and qigong in an engaging interactive DVD set.

Matt Herren
As a co-founder of Pen & Sword Productions, Herren draws from his extensive experience in digital health media where he has been instrumental in overseeing business negotiations, international distribution, network co-productions, and corporate sponsorship agreements. Herren has developed and distributed award-winning health series in over 60 countries worldwide, partnering with leading networks and digital channels such as PBS, Discovery Communications, Universal Networks International, The Wellness Network, Verizon, Amazon.com, and Hulu.com. Herren graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications.

Arthur Rosenfeld
Arthur Rosenfeld is an authority on the spiritual dimensions of Eastern thinking for a Western world. A martial arts master and philosopher, Rosenfeld is a contributor to national magazines including Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Parade, has been seen on Fox News and other networks, and heard on numerous national radio programs. Along with the Dalai Lama, Rosenfeld was a finalist for the prestigious Books For A Better Life award for his bestseller The Truth About Chronic Pain (Basic Books, New York, May 2003) and has been cited in national media including Newsweek, Ebony and Parade. A Yale graduate, he combines the scientific background and communication skills gained through post-graduate studies at Cornell and the University of California with real-world savvy gleaned from creative, high-level corporate positions. |
